Sign-changing solutions to a class of nonlinear equations involving the \(p\)-Laplacian (Q2362677)

In this study, the authors extend and generalize the results of the papers [\textit{L. Kong} and \textit{Q. Kong}, Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 2009, 457--465 (2009; Zbl 1236.34027)], [\textit{Q. Kong}, Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 66, No. 11, 2635--2651 (2007; Zbl 1119.34024)] and [\textit{W.-C. Wang} and \textit{Y.-H. Cheng}, Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 102, 14--22 (2014; Zbl 1288.34024)] to a class of nonlinear equations involving the arbitrary order \(p\)-Laplacian operator. They give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of sign-changing solutions and also consider an application related to the case of multi-point boundary conditions.
