In this work, the authors compute the degree of some known components of the moduli space \(\mathcal{F}ol(n,d)\) of codimension \(1\) foliations of degree \(d\) in projective space \(\mathbb{P}^n\). The space \(\mathcal{F}ol(n,d)\) is naturally embeded in \(\mathbb{P}(H^0(\mathbb{P}^n,\Omega^1_{\mathbb{P}^n}(d+2)))\), it is with respect to this embedding that the degree of the components is computed. The components in question parametrize foliations whose leaves are fibers of rational maps \(\frac{F}{G}:\mathbb{P}^n\to \mathbb{P}^1\). That is, foliations given by \(1\)-forms of type \(aFdG- bGdF\) where \(F\) and \(G\) are homogeneous polynomials of degree \(a\) and \(b\) respectively. The main result of the paper ask for the hypothesis \(a=2\), \(b\) odd. A particularly nice proposition proved in the article and used to prove the main result is the determination of the base locus and resolution of the indeterminacies of the rational map \[ \mathbb{P}(S_a)\times \mathbb{P}(S_b)\to \mathbb{P}(H^0(\mathbb{P}^n,\Omega^1_{\mathbb{P}^n}(d+2))), \] where \(S_a\) is the space of homogeneous polynomials of degree \(a\), and the map is given by the formula \[ (F,G)\mapsto aFdG - bGdF. \]
