For a subset \(M\) of a normed space \((X,\|\cdot\|)\) denote by \(\rho(y,M)=\inf\{\|x-y\|: y\in M\}\) the distance from an element \(x\in X\) to \(M\) and by \(P_M(x)\) the metric projection of \(x\) on \(M\). The set \(M\) is called antiproximinal if \(P_M(x)=\emptyset\) for all \(x\in X\setminus M.\) The metric \(n\)-projection of a set \(\{x_1,\dots,x_n\}\subset X\) is defined by \(P_M(x_1,\dots,x_n)=\{y\in M : \sum_{i=1}^n\|x_i-y\|=\rho(x_1,\dots,x_n,M)\}\), where \(\rho(x_1,\dots,x_n,M)\}=\inf\{\sum_{i=1}^n\|x_i-z\| : z\in M\}\). The set \(M\) is called \(n\)-antiproximinal if \(P_M(x_1,\dots,x_n)\setminus\{x_i\}_{i=1}^n=\emptyset\) for all \(\{x_1,\dots,x_n\}\subset X\) such that \(\rho(x_1,\dots,x_n,M)>\rho(x_1,\dots,x_n,X).\) Obviously, the antiproximinal sets are the 1-antiproximinal sets. The author shows that in the space \(c_0\) equipped with Day's locally uniformly convex norm there exists an antiproximinal closed bounded convex body which is not 2-antiproximinal. The existence of an antiproximinal closed bounded convex body in the space \(c_0\) equipped with Day's norm was proved by \textit{S. Cobzaş} [``Strongly nonproximinal sets in \(c_0\)'', Rev. Anal. Numér. Théor. Approximation 2, No. 2, 137--141 (1973)], and by \textit{V. S. Balaganskii} [Math. Notes 79, No. 3, 299--313 (2006; Zbl 1122.46004); translation from Mat. Zametki 79, No. 3, 323--338 (2006)] for \(c_0(\Gamma)\).
