Let \(\{f_1, \ldots, f_m\}\), where each \(f_i:\mathbb{R}^n\to\mathbb{R}^n\) is a contraction with respect to a metric \(d\) on \({\mathbb R}^n\), denote a hyperbolic iterated function systems (IFS). The author considers subfractals, defined as a subset of the attractor of such IFSs. Furthermore, it is required that \(\{f_1, \ldots, f_m\}\) satisfy the open set condition. The subfractals will consist of points associated with infinite codes from a sofic subshift on code space \(\{1,\ldots, m\}^\mathbb{N}\). The main result of this paper is the proof that the zeros of the lower and upper topological pressure functions provide lower, respectively, upper bounds for the Hausdorff, packing, lower and upper box dimensions of the subfractal.
