The completed double layer boundary element method is analyzed, adapted and numerically implemented for solving the problem of elastically deformable particles in Stokes flow. The interior elastic deformation is infinitesimal and is governed by the Navier equation. The problem of finite deformation and the particle-mobility problem are also considered. As numerical examples, the solutions of the problem for a single elastic sphere and for two spheres in near contact in a given Stokes flows are presented and discussed.
