A technique is given for the evaluation of Bessel functions \(y_ \nu(x)\) satisfying the conditions \(y_ \nu(a)=y_ \nu(b)=0\). These functions may be used as a complete orthonormal basis set for the solution of boundary value problems with Dirichlet conditions.
