The following result is proved: There exists a topological Hausdorff 0-dimensional completely regular \(k\)-space \(X\) such that \(C(X)\) is an example of a Fréchet quojection non-isomorphic to a complemented subspace of a product of Fréchet spaces each one having a continuous norm. In particular, \(C(X)\) is not isomorphic to a product of Banach spaces of continuous functions.
