    With a bounded Lipschitz domain \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^ 3\) consider \[ {{\partial \vec u} \over {\partial t}}= \mu\Delta \vec u+(\lambda+ \mu)\nabla(\text{div }\vec u) \quad \text{ in } \quad \Omega_ T=\Omega\times (0,T), \] \(\vec u= (u^ 1,u^ 2,u^ 3)\), and the initial-Dirichlet data \(\vec u|_{\Sigma_ T}=\vec g\), \(\vec u|_{t=0}=\vec 0\) or the initial traction data \[ \lambda(\text{div }\vec u)N+ \mu((\nabla \vec u)+ (\nabla \vec u)^{tr}) N|_{\Sigma_ T}= \vec g, \qquad \vec u|_{t=0}=\vec 0, \] where \(N\) denotes the outward unit normal to \(\partial\Omega\). For \(\vec g\in L^ p(\Sigma_ T)\), \(L_ 1^ p(\Sigma_ T)\) (one spatial and half of a time derivative in \(L^ p)\) or \(\Lambda_ 0^ \alpha(\Sigma_ T)\) (Hölder continuous functions) there are given theorems on existence, uniqueness and estimates for solutions in terms of the parabolic maximal function.
