Weyl submersions are defined as those submersions \(\pi:M\to N\) between Riemannian manifolds for which \(\pi_ *\) maps the horizontal subspace \({\mathcal H}_ x\subset T_ xM\) onto \(T_{\pi(x)}N\) conformally. Some properties of such submersions are collected. For example, the horizontal distribution \({\mathcal H}\) is umbilical and, if the vertical distribution \({\mathcal V}\) is umbilical and \(M\) is closed and oriented, then \(\int_ M(R-R^ h-R^ v)dV\geq 0\), \(R\), \(R^ h\) and \(R^ v\) being the scalar curvatures of \(M\), \({\mathcal H}\) and \({\mathcal V}\), respectively.
