Let \(X\) be a real Banach space. For a given dissipative operator \(A:X\to 2^ X\), a given positive constant \(T\), a given function \(g:{\mathcal C}([0,T],X)\to X\) and for a given \(x_ 0\in X\), the author considers the nonlocal Cauchy problem (1) \(u'(t)\in Au(t)\), \(u(0)+g(u)=x_ 0\) \(\forall t\in[0,T]\). If, in addition, there exists a constant \(L\in(0,1)\) such that \(\| g(w_ 1)-g(w_ 2)\|\leq L\| w_ 1-w_ 2\|_{{\mathcal C}([0,T],X)}\) for all \(w_ 1,w_ 2\in{\mathcal C}([0,T],X)\) then there exists at most one strong solution of (1) on \([0,T]\). The paper is a continuation of three previous author's papers [Appl. Anal. 40, No. 1, 11-19 (1990; Zbl 0694.34001), J. Math. Anal. Appl. 162, No. 2, 494-505 (1991; Zbl 0748.34040) and J. Appl. Math. Stochastic Anal. 5, No. 4, 363-373 (1992; Zbl 0776.34049), see the preceding review] and, in analog to those papers, can be applied in physics.
