Two results on continuous, compact-valued multifunctions \(F:[0,T]\times R^ n\to 2^{R^ n}\) are given. The first one, for \(F\) satisfying the Hölder condition \(d_ H(F(t,x),F(s,y))\leq C(| t-s|+| x- y|)^ \alpha\), states that for any \(L>0\) there is a directionally continuous selection \(f(t,x)\in F(t,x)\) such that the map \(\Phi:\text{Lip}_ L\to{\mathcal L}^ 1\) defined on the set of \(L\)- Lipschitzian functions by the formula \(\Phi(x)(t)=f(t,x(t))\) is also Hölder continuous with the same exponent \(\alpha\). The second one, for \(F\) Lipschitzian in \(x\), implies the existence of a similar selection for which the Cauchy problem \(\dot x=f(t,x)\), \(x(0)=x_ 0\), has a unique solution and that there are two constants \(A,B\) such that for any two solutions we have \(| x(t)-y(t)|<A/\ln|\ln| x(0)-y(0)| |\) if only \(| x(0)-y(0)|<B\).
