Let \(X\) be a Lusinian separable metric space and let \(m\) be a probability measure on the Borel field \({\mathcal B}(X)\) such that \(\text{supp}[m]=X\). Let \(({\mathcal E},{\mathcal F})\) be a quasi-regular Dirichlet form on \(L^ 2(X,m)\) and \({\mathcal F}_ 0\) be an \({\mathcal E}_ 1\)-dense subset of \({\mathcal F}\) consisting of quasi-continuous functions. The author gives a proof of the following uniqueness result: If \(\mu\) and \(\nu\) are two finite measures on \((X,{\mathcal B}(X))\) charging no set of zero capacity such that \(\int_ Xfd\mu=\int_ Xfd\nu\) for every \(f\in{\mathcal F}_ 0\), then \(\mu=\nu\).
