The author establishes a new type existence theorem for the Cauchy problem of the differential inclusion \(\dot x \in F(t,x)\), \(x(0)=0\), where \(F:[0,T] \times H \to W\) and the separable Hilbert spaces \(H,W\) satisfy the following conditions: (1) \(F(t,h)\) is nonempty and \(w\)-weakly compact for each \((t,h)\); (2) for each \(t \in [0,T]\) the multimap \(F(t,\cdot):H_ w \to 2^{W_ w}\) is continuous, where \(H_ w\), \(W_ w\) are \(H,W\) endowed with weak topology; (3) for each \(h \in H\) the multimap \(F(\cdot,h):[0,T] \to W_ w\) is measurable; (4) there exists \(M>0\) such that \(\sup \{\| y \|:y \in F(t,h),\;t \in [0,T,h \in H\} \leq M\). The proof is based on an approximation scheme due firstly to \textit{H. Kaczyński} and \textit{C. Olech} [Ann. Pol. Math. 29, 61-66 (1974; Zbl 0285.34008)] and the weak convergence theorem in Sobolev spaces of \textit{T. Maruyama} [Proc. Japan Acad., Ser. A 66, No. 7, 217-221 (1990; Zbl 0728.49004)]. The result of the author is compared with the recent results of \textit{T. Maruyama} [RIMS Kokyuroku 789, 179-191 (1992)] and results communicated by T. Maruyama to the author. Remark that this will be very important if one can give more concrete complicated applications of this theorem to partial differential inclusions of evolution type.
