Summary: As a singular counterpart to the Newton and Plateau equilibrium figures of rotating stars or drops, respectively, we investigate magnetizable drops rotating in weakly nonhomogeneous fields. Existence and uniqueness of a family of equilibrium figures near to the sphere are established.
