Let \(f,g\) be meromorphic and nonrational in the plane; it is said that \(f\) and \(g\) share the value \(a\), if \(f^{-1}\bigl(\{a\}\bigr)=g^{- 1}\bigl(\{a\}\bigr)\). \textit{E. Mues} [Complex Variables, Theory Appl. 12, 169-179 (1989; Zbl 0699.30025)] has shown that the conclusion of Nevanlinna's Four-Point-Theorem holds, provided \(f\) and \(g\) share four values \(a,b,c,d\), such that for one of these values, a say, \(\tau(a)=1\) holds, while \(\tau(b)>2/3\). Here \(\tau(a)=\lim\inf{\overline N_ E(r,a)\over\overline N(r,a)}\) is a measure for the density of the simple \(a\)-points of \(f\) and \(g\) (with corresponding counting-function \(\overline N_ E(r,a))\) in the sequence of all \(a\)-points (counted by \(\overline N(r,a))\). In the present paper it is shown that the conclusion also holds if, for two values, say \(a\) and \(b\), \(\tau(a)>4/5\) and \(\tau(b)>4/5\) holds. This is, to a certain extend, a generalization of Mues' theorem, since \(2\cdot{4\over 5}<1+{2\over 3}\).
