Let \(X\) be a complex Banach space and \(L(X)\) the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators on \(X\). The author denotes by \(N(T)\) the kernel, by \(T(X)\) the range of \(T\in L(X)\), by \(\sigma(T)\) the spectrum of \(T\), by \({\mathcal H}(T)\) the set of all complex valued functions which are analytic in some neighbourhood of \(\sigma(T)\); for \(f\in H(T)\) the operator \(f(T)\) is defined by the analytic calculus. An operator \(T\in L(X)\) is called regular, if the equation \(TST=T\) is satisfied for some operator \(S\in L(X)\), \(\mathbb{C}\) the complex plane. The author denotes by \(\rho_{rr}(T)\) the set \[ \rho_{rr}(T)=\bigl\{\lambda\in\mathbb{C}:T- \lambda I\text{ is relatively regular and } N(T-\lambda I)\subset\bigcap(T-\lambda I)^ n(X)\bigr\}. \] The main result is represented in the following Theorem 3. If \(T\in L(X)\) and \(f\in{\mathcal H}(T)\) then \(f\bigl(\sigma_{rr}(T)\bigr)=\sigma_{rr}\bigl(f(t)\bigr)\).
