An abstract notion of completeness (defined by using coverings but no topology) is explored in order to prove the existence of measurable selector for a multifunction acting between paved spaces. The existence of such selector is announced in [Bull. Pol. Acad Sci., Math. 29, 597-603 (1981; Zbl 0498.28006)].
