Ramanujan's continued fraction for products of gamma functions (Q2367822)

Ramanujan's notebooks contain any interesting continued fractions. Here three of the more general (i.e. many free parameters) are proven from contiguous relations for \(_ 3F_ 2\) generalized hypergeometric series. One reason to be interested in this is the desire to extend these to basic hypergeometric type, which is easier once the hypergeometric nature is made explicit. A second reason is the question of whether there are continued fractions which can be evaluated which can not be treated by hypergeometric, basic hypergeometric or elliptic functions. There seem to be few if any such.
