The perimeter centroid of a polygon can be considered as the centroid of homogeneous wires of uniform density which lie on the sides of the polygon. An elementary proof is given that the perimeter centroid of the polygon with set \(\{A_ 1,A_ 2,\dots,A_ n\}\), where \(A_ i=(x_ i,y_ i)\), is located at the point \(\left(\sum^ n_ 1(x_ i+x_{i+1})d_ i2L,\sum^ n_ i(y_ i+y_{i+1})d_ i/2L\right)\) where \(d_ i\) detone the lengths of the sides and \(L\) is the perimeter of the polygon.
