This paper derives a product form equilibrium distribution for a network of queues in which at most one of the queues can block at any one time. In this case blocking means that those customers requiring service at a queue will join a waiting line until a server becomes available. Although this would appear to be fairly standard for a queue with a finite number of servers the type dependent service time at the blocking and the extended state space description make this example sufficiently non standard to be of interest to researchers in the product form field.
