Automorphisms of the poset of skew projections (Q2368158)

It is shown, that any automorphism of the poset \(\mathfrak B\) of all idempotents of the algebra \(B(H)\) of all bounded linear operators in a Hilbert space \(H\), \(\dim H\geq 3\) is of the form \(P\mapsto APA^{-1}\) or \(P\mapsto AP^* A^{-1}\) with \(A\in {\mathfrak S}\), where \(\mathfrak S\) is the set of all semilinear bijections \(A: H\to H\) if \(H\) is finite-dimensional and the set of all continuous invertible linear or conjugate linear operators in \(H\) if \(H\) is infinite-dimensional.
