The authors consider the equation \((-\Delta)^m u=g(x,u)\) in a bounded domain \(\Omega\) with Dirichlet boundary conditions. The nonlinearity grows superlinearly and subcritically in \(u\) so that solutions can be obtained via standard variational methods.
