This paper is the natural continuation of previous ones of the author related to non-archimedean quasi-invariant and pseudodifferentiable measures, whose study becomes more important nowadays due to their influence in the development of non-archimedean mathematical physics. Let \(X\) be a projective limit of a family of Banach spaces with an orthonormal base over a locally compact non-archimedean valued field \(K\). Consider a complete non-archimedean valued field \(F\) such that \(K_p\subset F\) and whose valued group is \((0,\infty)\) (where \(K_p\) is a local field containing the field \(\mathbb{Q}_p\) of the \(p\)-adic numbers and extending its valuation). The main goal of the paper is to introduce and study Gaussian-like measures on \(X\) with values in \(K_p\). The word ``like'' used above is justified in the sense that the measures considered by the author have certain convolution properties, in terms of their characteristic functionals with values in \(F\), similar to the ones for classical Gaussian measures. Nevertheless, he proves that there do not exist non-trivial usual Gaussian measures on non-archimedean Banach spaces over \(K\). The objectives of the paper are to investigate equivalence, orthogonality and pseudodifferentiablity of these non-archimedean Gaussian measures, as well as their applications to stochastic processes (existence of non-archimedean Wiener processes associated to this kind of measures) and to pseudodifferential operators (solution of the non-archimedean analogue of the Cauchy problem). To carry out these objectives, the author uses basic tools of duality theory. For that, he imposes the assumption of local compactness on \(K\). Non-locally compact ground fields are not considered in the paper, however. For these fields, duality theory changes strongly and becomes typically non-archimedean. I think that it would be interesting, for a future work, to investigate the validity of the contents of the present paper for the case of spaces over \textit{arbitrary} non-archimedean and non-trivially valued complete fields.
