The structure of a *-primitive involution ring \(R\) is given by the authors in Theorem 2.4: It is either a left and right primitive ring or a subdirect sum of two anti-isomorphic (left and and right, respectively) primitive rings with involution exchanging the components. By an example, they show that there are such rings which are not represented by row and column finite matrices (Theorem 3.1). A connection between *-primitivity of rings and bi-ideals of the ring is also studied in the paper.
