Invariant Shen connections and geodesic orbit spaces (Q2368603)

This work is motivated by a construction of \textit{J. Szenthe} [Acta Sci. Math. 38, 383--398 (1976; Zbl 0321.53029)] given for the study of affine geodesic orbit (g.o.) spaces with compact isotropy group. The aim of the authors is to describe a connection theoretical version of the concept of the generalized geodesic graph. This special type of connection called Shen connection by the authors appeared already in early works on Finsler geometry. The paper gives a short systematic description of Shen connections, and shows that Szenthe's construction determines a unique naturally reductive Shen connection with singularities of the Riemannian g.o. space.
