The author considers the following problem (1) \(-\Delta u= u^p \text{ in } \Omega\), \(u> 0\text{ in }\Omega\), \(u= 0\text{ on }\partial\Omega\), where \(\Omega\) is a smooth bounded domain of \(\mathbb R^N\), \(N\geq 2\). The author studies the asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of (1) as \(p\to\infty\). One of the main result of the paper is that there is no concentration phenomenon as \(p\) goes to infinity.
