Upper semicontinuity of the global attractor for the Gierer-Meinhardt model (Q2368705)

The author is concerned with the following Gierer-Meinhardt model on a bounded domain \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^{N}\;(N\in[1,2,3])\) with smooth boundary \(\partial\Omega\), which is a biological pattern formation model by A. Gierer and H. Meinhardt: \(u_{t}=\nu^{2}\Delta u-u+\frac{u^{p}}{v^{q}}+\mu\), \(\sigma v_{t}=\frac{1}{\rho}\Delta v-v+\frac{u^{r}}{v^{s}}\), in \(\partial\Omega\times\mathbb{R}_{+}\), \(\frac{\partial u}{\partial n}=\frac{\partial v}{\partial n}=0,\) on \(\partial\Omega\times\mathbb{R}_{+}\), where \(\nu, \mu, \sigma\) and \(\rho\) are small positive constants.
