Dual functionals of Said-Bézier type generalized Ball bases over triangle domain and their applications (Q2369379)

The generalized Ball curves possess many properties similar to the properties of Bézier curves and the advantage that there are more efficient elevation and recursive algorithms for evaluating points on the curve. Extending a family of generalized Ball curves introduced by \textit{H. Wu} [Appl. Math., Ser. B (Engl. Ed.) 15 (1), 109--121 (2000; Zbl 0955.65008)], to the case of surfaces over triangular domain, the author introduces a family of generalized Ball bases with a parameter \(H\), which can generate Bézier surfaces, Said-Ball surfaces and several intermediate surfaces over a triangular domain, and provides the elevation and recursive algorithms. To convert different bases and surfaces, the dual functionals of bases are presented.
