    Let \(H(B)\) denote the collection of all harmonic functions on the unit ball \( B\) of \(\mathbb R^{n}\) \((n\geq 3)\), and let \(w(x)=1-\left| x\right| \). A sample result is as follows (Corollary 5): Let \(p\geq 2\) and \(\alpha >1\). For \(u\) in \(H(B)\) with \(u(0)=0\) the quantities \(\int_{B}\left| u\right| ^{p-2}\left| \nabla u\right| ^{2}w^{\alpha }\) and \( \int_{B}\left| u\right| ^{p-1}\left| \nabla u\right| w^{\alpha -1}\) are comparable. Further, if \(\alpha >2\), then these integrals are equiconvergent with \(\int_{B}\left| u\right| ^{p}w^{\alpha -2}\). The author also investigates the growth of spherical \(p\)th means of functions \(u\) in \(H(B)\) in relation to the growth of the corresponding means of \(\nabla u\).
