The author studies properties about zeros of paraorthogonal polynomials on the unit circle and paraorthogonal polynomials of the second kind. For a fixed \(\lambda\) of modulus \(1\), the family of paraorthogonal polynomials \(h_n(z,\lambda)\) vanishing at \(z= \lambda\) is considered, and like in the classical orthogonality, the paraorthogonal polynomials of the second kind \(s_n(z,\lambda)\) are introduced. Basically, the paper deals with properties such as situation and interlaced of zeros. Indeed the following results are proven: (1) The zeros of \(h_n\) and \(s_n\) strictly interlace. (2) For a fixed \(z_0\) of modulus \(1\), \(z_0 \neq \lambda\), and such that \(z_0\) does not belong to the support of the measure, there exists \(\rho >0\) (independent of \(n\)) such that either \(h_n\) or \(h_{n+1}\) (or both) has no zero inside the disk around \(z_0\) with radius \(\rho\), with the possible exception of \(\lambda\). (3) For a fixed \(z_0\), isolated point in the support of the measure (i) there exists a disk around \(z_0\) with radius \(\tilde \rho\) such that either \(s_n\) or \(s_{n+1}\) (or both) has no zeros inside. (ii) there exists a disk around \(z_0\) such that \(h_n\) or \(h_{n+1}\) (or both) has at most one zero inside.
