The well-posedeness problem of an evolutionary weighted \(p\)-Laplacian with boundary degeneracy is considered. More precisely, the following problem is studied: \[ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t}- \text{div}(a(x)| \nabla u(x)| ^{p-2}\nabla u) +\sum_{i=1}^n b_i(x)D_iu + c(x,t)u=f(x,t) \] on \(Q_T:=\Omega\times (0,T)\) where \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^n\) is a bounded smooth domain, and \(a\) is continuous on \(\overline\Omega\) and positive in \(\Omega\). Thus, the equation may degenerate not only at the critical points of \(u\) but also on the set \(\{ x\in \partial\Omega:a(x)=0\}\). Under appropriate assumptions, existence and uniqueness of the problem are proved under an initial-boundary condition.
