The first result on the stability of the classical Jensen equation \(2f(\frac{x+y}{2})=f(x)+f(y)\) was given by \textit{Z. Kominek} [Demonstr. Math. 22, No.~2, 499--507 (1989; Zbl 0702.39007)]. The authors of the present paper prove the stability of Jensen's functional equation \(f(xy) + f(xy^{-1}) = 2f (x)\) on some classes of noncommutative groups such as metabelian groups, where \([[x, y], z] = 1\) for all \(x, y, z\) and the group \(T(2,K)\) consisting of matrices of the form \(\left [ \begin{matrix} \alpha& t \\ 0&\beta\end{matrix} \right ] \quad (\alpha, \beta \in K \backslash \{0\}, t \in K)\), where \(K\) is an arbitrary commutative field of characteristic different from two. They also prove that any group can be embedded into some group \(G\) such that the Jensen functional equation is stable on \(G\).
