The first problem is to expand a polynomial \(P_n(x)=\sum_{k=0}^{n}a_kx^k\) in generalized scaled Bernstein polynomial basis \(b_{k,n}=(\alpha +x)^k(\beta -x)^{n-k}\): \(P_n=\sum_{k=0}^{n}\beta_kb_{k,n}\) and to find the relations between the coefficients \(a_k\) and \(\beta_i\). The second step consists to find the relations between the companion matrices of \(\widehat{P}_n=\sum_{k=0}^{n}\beta_kx^k\) and \(P_n\). The inclusion domains for the eigenvalues of these matrices determine the domain containing the zeros of the considered polynomials. The bounds of this domain are determined by means of classical Gershgorin disks or other methods. Some examples are presented.
