A smooth manifold \(\mathcal{M}\) endowed with a pair of compatible Poisson brackets, or equivalently a pair of compatible Poisson tensors \(P\) and \(P'\) is called a bi-Hamiltonian manifold. The dynamical systems on the manifold \(\mathcal{M}\) for which the number of functionally independent integrals of motion \(H_0,H_1,\ldots, H_n\) in bi-involution with respect to the Poisson brackets \(\{H_i,H_k\}=\{H_i,H_k\}'=0\) suffices for these systems to be Liouville integrable are called bi-integrable systems or generalized bi-Hamiltonian systems. For integrals of motion to be in bi-involution it suffices that the corresponding vector fields \(X_{H_i}\) are bi-Hamiltonian. In this case the integrals of motion \(H_i\) form the Lenard-Magri chain and satisfy the relations \[ PdH_0,\quad X_{H_i}=PdH_i-P'dH_{i-1},\quad P'dH_n=0 \tag{\(*\)} \] The author classifies linear Poisson pencils on the manifolds that can be identified with the dual spaces of the six-dimensional Lie algebras \(e(3)\) and \(so(4)\). In this case the solutions \(H_i\) of the equations \((*)\) are at most quadratic Hamiltonians describing the dynamics of a solid with a fixed point (integrability of the Euler equations), the dynamics of a solid in fluids (integrability of the Kirchhoff equations) and the integrability of the Poincaré-Zhukovsii equations.
