The authors consider the system of two differential equations \[ \begin{aligned} &u^{(n)}(t) + a_1(t)f_1(u(t),v(t)) = 0, \quad t \in (0,1), \\ &v^{(m)}(t) + a_2(t)f_2(u(t),v(t)) = 0, \quad t \in (0,1) \end{aligned} \] together with multi-point boundary conditions \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} u^{(i)}(0) &= 0, \quad 0 \leq i \leq n - 2, &\qquad &u^{(n-2)}(1) = \sum_{i=1}^p b_iu^{(n-2)}(\xi_i),\\ v^{(j)}(0) &= 0, \quad 0 \leq j \leq m - 2, &\qquad &v^{(m-2)}(1) = \sum_{i=1}^q c_iv^{(m-2)}(\eta_i), \end{alignedat} \] where \(f_i\) is continuous on \([0,\infty)^2\) and \(a_i : (0,1) \to [0,\infty)\) is integrable on \((0,1)\) for \(i = 1,2\); \(\frac{1}{2} \leq \xi_1 < \ldots < \xi_p < 1\), \(\frac{1}{2} \leq \eta_1 < \ldots < \eta_q < 1\), \(n, m, p, q \in \mathbb N\), \(n,m\geq 3\). Sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions are derived. Conditions ensuring the existence of at least two positive solutions are presented, too. These results are obtained by using the fixed-point index theory.
