The main aim of the paper under review is to explore invariants of representations of algebras under cleft extensions over semisimple Hopf algebras. The authors show that the representation type and the Nakayama property are such invariants when the Hopf algebras and the ground field satisfy some condition. The basic tool is an equivalent relation between the concepts of cleft extensions and crossed product.
