The cohomology of Koszul-Vinberg algebras (Q2373543)

This work presents an intrinsic cohomology theory of Koszul-Vinberg (K-V) algebras and their modules. An algebra \(A\) is called K-V if \((ab)c- a(bc)= (ba)c- b(ac)\) for all \(a\), \(b\), \(c\) in \(A\). The importance of such structures is in differential geometry and in algebraic-analytic geometry. The results follow and complete works of \textit{A. Nijenhuis} [Nieuw Arch. Wisk. (3) 17, 17--46, 87--108 (1969; Zbl 0179.33204)] and \textit{M. Gerstenhaber} [Ann. Math. (2) 79, 59--103 (1964; Zbl 0123.03101)].
