    The author calls a continuous function \(f:[0,1]\to\mathbb{R}\) superfractal if \(f\) does not possess a finite or infinite Denjoy-Khinchin approximate derivative at any point of \([0,1]\). The following finite control problem is considered: Find a time \(T_n\) and functions \(\mu_n,\nu_n\in C[0, T_n]\) such that the solution \(Q_n\) of the Dirichlet initial value problem \[ \begin{aligned} \varphi(x) &= Q_n(x,0), \quad \psi_n (x) = \frac{\partial Q_n(x,t)}{\partial t}\bigg|_{t=0},\\ \mu_n (t) & = Q_n(0,t), \quad \nu_n(t) = Q_n(1,t), \\ \frac{\partial^2 Q_n}{\partial t^2} &= \frac{\partial^2 Q_n}{\partial x^2}, \end{aligned} \] satisfies the terminal conditions \[ Q_n(x,T_n) = g_n(x), \quad\text{and}\quad \frac{\partial Q_n}{\partial t} (x,T_n) = h_n(x), \quad x\in [0,1]. \] It is noted that the control functions \(\mu\) and \(\nu\) are compactly supported Jarnik superfractal functions, i.e., superfractal functions as defined in the sense above with the additional property that the set of Jarnik points coincides with the interval \([0,1]\).
