This paper aims to study the Laplace equation in a noncommutative framework. This framework is essentially obtained by substituting compact spaces with unital \(C^*\)-algebras, smooth manifolds with \(C^*\)-algebras with smooth subalgebras, partial derivative with unbounded derivations, and integrals with tracial states. Then its noncommutative analysis is founded on some standard functional analysis methods. (For example, noncommutative analogues of Wiener's Theorem and Leray-Schauder Theorem are considered.) Reviewer's remark. Let us emphasize that today there exists a well-developed geometric theory of noncommutative PDE's that allows us to obtain local and global existence theorems for any PDE. There the methods used are constructive too. (See works by the Reviewer of this paper, on the geometric theory of quantum (super)PDE's.)
