This paper deals with the study on the existence of solutions of the nonlinear Volterra integral equation \[ y(t)=\int_t^T k(t,s)[g(y(s))+h(y(s))]\,ds, \] where \(T>0\) is fixed, the functions \(k,g,h\) are given. The fixed-point theorem of Schauder-Tychonoff is used in the proof.
