      A \(d\)-web is given by a differential equation \(F(x,y,y')=0\), where \(F(x,y,p)\in {\mathbb C}{x,y}[p]\). For a derivation \(\delta\) a Darboux polynomial \(P\in \mathcal{O}[y']\) is one satisfying the condition \(\delta (P)=UP\), where \(U\) is an eigenvalue of \(\delta\). The author studies the problem of existence of Darboux polynomials in \({\mathbb C}\{ x\} [y,y']\) for the derivation \(R(y)\partial _x+R(y)y'\partial _y-V(y,y')\partial _{y'}\).
