    Some interesting identities related to the generating function of the \(k\)-th power of the Fibonacci numbers are formulated and proved, e.g., Theorem 1. Let \(k,m \leq [(k+1)/2]\) be any positive integers, \(\alpha_i = (-1)^{l_i+k+1}\varepsilon_i^{k-2l_i}\) be any distinct real numbers, where \(l_i \leq [(k-1)/2]\) be any nonnegative integers and \(\varepsilon_i = \alpha = (1 + \sqrt{5})/2\) or \(\varepsilon_i = \beta = (1 - \sqrt{5})/2\), for \(i = 1,2,\dots, m.\) Write \[ B_i = - \sum_{\substack{ n_1,n_2,\dots,n_i\\ 1\leq n_1 < n_2 <\dots, n_i \leq m}} \alpha_{n_1}\alpha_{n_2}\dots\alpha_{n_i}, \quad i = 1,2,\dots,m. \] Let \(\{x_n\}\) be any sequence of real numbers satisfying for \(n \geq m\) or \(n < 0\) the general linear recurrence relation of order \(m\) \[ \sum_{i=1}^{m-1} B_{m-i}x_{n+m-i} - x_n = 0 \] with initial conditions \(x_0 = x_1 = \dots = x_{m-2} = 0, x_{m-1} = 1.\) Then for any integer \(p > k\): \[ \sum_{i=0}^p (-a)^{(i(i+1)/2} \left [ \begin{matrix} k+1 \\ i \end{matrix} \right ] x_{k-i} = 0, \] where \[ \left [ \begin{matrix} n \\ m \end{matrix}\right ] = \frac{F_nF_{n- 1}\dots F_{n-k+1}} {F_1F_2\dots F_k}, \left [ \begin{matrix} n \\ 0 \end{matrix}\right ] = 1, \quad \left [ \begin{matrix} n \\ m \end{matrix}\right ] = 0\;\text{ for }\;n < m. \]
