The main aim of this paper is to prove results related to classical theorems of Bartle-Dunford-Schwartz, Orlicz-Pettis and Vitali-Hahn-Saks for measures with values in \(L(X,Y)\), the space of bounded operators between two Banach spaces. Let \(m\in \text{fasv}_\mu (\Sigma, L(X,Y))\) mean that \(m\) is defined on the \(\sigma\)-algebra \(\Sigma\), has values in \(L(X,Y)\), is finitely additive, of bounded semi-variation, and has a \(\sigma\)-finite control measure. Additivity properties beyond finite additivity can be defined relative to all the classical topologies on \(L(X,Y)\). One result in the paper is that if \(X^\ast\) has the RNP, then countable additivity relative to \(W^\ast OT\) already implies countable additivity relative to the uniform operator topology for measures in \(\text{fasv}_\mu (\Sigma, L(X,Y))\). The result related to the Bartle-Dunford-Schwartz theorem is that if \(m\in \text{fasv}_\mu (\Sigma, L(X,Y))\) is \(W^\ast OT\)-countably additive, then its range is relatively sequentially \(W^\ast OT\)-compact. An important tool in the proofs is to use the operators \(T_m:L^{\infty}\rightarrow X\) corresponding in the natural way to \(m\in \text{fasv}_\mu (\Sigma, L(X,Y))\). The paper is well-organized and a quite extensive reference list is given. For the reader, it may also be interesting to consider the work on operator-valued measures by \textit{I. Dobrakov} [see, e.g., Stud. Math. 164, No. 3, 205--229 (2004; Zbl 1058.28008)].
