The existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the problem \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} u_{it} \operatorname{div}(| \nabla u_i | ^{p_i - 2} \nabla u_i) &= f_i (x,t,u_1 ,u_2), &\quad(x,\,t) &\in Q_T,\\ u_i(x,0) &= u_{i0} (x), &\quad x&\in \Omega,\\ u_i (x,t) &= 0, &\quad(x,t) &\in \partial \Omega \times (0,T) \end{alignedat} \] where \(p_i > 0,\) \(i = 1,2,\) \(Q_T = \Omega \times (0,T),\) \(\Omega \in\mathbb R^n\) is a bounded domain with smooth boundary \(\partial \Omega\) is proven. System (1) models non-Newtonian fluids and nonlinear filtration processes. It is suggested that functions \(f_i(x,t,u_1 ,u_2)\) are a quasimonotonical nondecreasing for \(u_1 ,u_2 : f_i (x,t,u_1 ,u_2) \in C(\overline \Omega)\times [0,T] \times\mathbb R^2\), \(| f_i (x,t,u_1 ,u_2)| \leqslant \min \{ g(u_1),g(u_2)\}\), where \(g(s) \in C^1(\mathbb R)\), \(u_{i0} \in L^\infty (\Omega) \cap W_1^{1,p_i } (\Omega)\). Proof of a uniqueness theorem is required that \(f = (f_1 ,f_2)\) is Lipschitz continuous in \((u_1 ,u_2)\), and proof of existence theorem based on a regularization method.
