This paper is a very nice review of the problems relating to what are the possible sizes of orbits which can arise from the actions of groups on finite structures. It also contains a few open problems. Rather than detail all the possible structures one which they consider is the action of \(\Aut(G)\) on the elements of \(G\), where \(G\) is a finite group. It is clear that the action has to fix the set of elements of given order and they mention various results related to this. They mention that if all elements of the same order in a finite group are conjugate, that is under the action of \(\text{Inn}(G)\), then \(G\) has order \(1\), \(2\) or \(6\). This was first proved by \textit{P. Fitzpatrick} [Proc. R. Ir. Acad., Sect. A 85, 53-58 (1985; Zbl 0558.20016)].
