This paper studies a connection between a weighted BMO space controlled by a growth function and an extended Carleson measure. The weighted BMO space \(BMO_{\phi}(\omega)\) controlled by \(\phi\) is the collection of locally integrable functions \(f\) such that \[ \frac 1{\omega(B)} \int_B |f(y) - m_B f |dy \leq C \phi(|B|^{1/n}), \] where \(m_B\) is the average of \(f\) over ball \(B\) in \(\mathbb R^n\), \(\omega\) is a weight function of Muckenhoupt, and \(\phi\) is a growth function satisfying a specific growth condition. The extended Carleson measure \((\phi, \omega)\)-Carleson is also controlled by \(\phi\). Fefferman and Stein's result is extended to spaces of \(BMO_{\phi}(\omega)\) under appropriate assumptions on \(\phi\) and \(\omega\). The paper also presents some results on weighted Hardy-Orlicz atomic space \(H_{\eta}(\omega)\) and an atomic decomposition of the weighted tent space \(T_{\eta}(\omega)\). These results extend existing results and also help in the proof of the main theorem. A weighted Triebel-Lizorkin space is studied in the paper, too. Tight relations between the space and the classical BMO space are obtained.
