A family of operators, related to the classical Bernstein polynomial operators, were defined by Meyer-King and Zeller in 1960. These operators and their variants including integral versions have been the interest of considerable research since then. The author proves tight bounds for the rate of convergence for a Bézier-type variant of recent interest. This variant is for a power series of integrals. The estimates depend on the variations of the functions and apply to functions with jump discontinuities.
