The authors give results, known for Sidon sets on abelian compact groups (see [\textit{J.-P. Kahane}, Some random series of functions, 2nd ed., Cambridge Studies in Advanced Mathematics 5, (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press) (1993; Zbl 0805.60007)]), for topological Sidon sets on locally compact Abelian groups in the Banach spaces-valued setting: equivalence of all \(L^p\)-norms (lying on the Khintchine-Kahane inequality); maximal inequalities for the partial sums, convergence (resp. boundedness) almost everywhere implied by \(S\)-summability (resp. \(S\)-boundedness) on a set of positive measure, equivalence of the almost everywhere convergence, or boundedness, of the Sidon series to that of the corresponding Steinhaus series. The results hold not on the whole locally compact group \(G\), but on compact subsets of \(G\). Some of the results hold for all compact subsets, assuming that the topological Sidon set \(\Lambda\) is of first kind. The other results hold for all topological Sidon sets \(\Lambda\) of \(\hat G\), assuming that \(G\) is connected and the compact set \(K\) has a non-empty interior (in order to use \textit{M. Déchamps's} theorem that every such compact set \(K\) is associated to \(\Lambda\) see [Ann. Inst. Fourier 22, No.~3, 51--79 (1972; Zbl 0229.43008)]).
