This paper nvestigates the convergence of the Riesz means \[ -\frac{}{}\int_{| \lambda | =r}g(\lambda,r) R_\lambda f d\lambda, \] where, with \(I\) denoting the identity operator and \(A\) an invertible integral operator of the form \(Af=\int_0^1 A(x,t) f(t) \,dt\), the expression \(R_\lambda=(I-\lambda A)^{-1} A=(A^{-1}-\lambda I)^{-1} \) is the resolvent operator and \(g(\lambda,r)\) is a continuous function of \(\lambda\) in the closed disk \(| \lambda| \leq r\) and analytic in the open disk \(| \lambda| < r\) for every \(r>0\). In the main results of the paper, Theorems 1 and 2, conditions on the kernel function of the operator \(A\) and on the function \(g\) are given such that \[ \lim_{r\rightarrow\infty} \left\| f+\frac{1}{2\pi i}\int_{| \lambda | =r}g(\lambda,r) R_\lambda f \,d\lambda \right\| _{C^\alpha[0,1]} =0 \] for some natural number \(\alpha\).
