The authors consider on a given time interval the optimal control problems of maximizing a linear function determined on terminal states of linear systems under geometrical constraints on control actions and linear equality constraints on terminal states. Optimal controls are constructed in the class of discrete controls which are supposed to be representable as polynomials of finite degree on each time quantization period. Taking into account the geometrical restrictions imposed on the coefficients of these polynomials and on the control variables for each instant of time, they formulate the problems mentioned above as complex extremum problems. Techniques for calculating the optimal programs and optimal feedbacks are proposed for two classes of control actions, namely, for the first degree discrete controls with the finite number of time quantization periods and the finite degree controls with one time quantization period. These techniques are based on the dynamic implementation of one particular linear programming technique developed by the authors. The solutions of the problems are used for the synthesis of the limited stabilizing feedbacks according to the moving control principle. The techniques are illustrated by numerical examples.
